Ficus deltoidea is a small tree with oval to spoon-shaped, leathery, bright green leaves that are lime with a red/greenish-brown edge underneath. Also known as the Mistletoe Fig, this is the only Ficus species that will produce inedible pea sized fruits, “figs” all year round even when cultivated indoors. Figs turn from dull yellow to orange and red.
Bright indirect light, can tolerate shade.
Water twice a week, the soil should be allowed to dry out slightly before the next watering. In winter, watering is reduced to 7-10 days.
