We love this large Sedum for its fascinating foliage and refreshing look!
Like its smaller brother, this wonderful succulent cascades over the edge of a hanging basket or pot in ‘tails’ or fronds of foliage which is a really stunning blue green, almost ethereal colour.
You may - if you’re lucky - even get little star shaped flowers in summer. These tend to be red or pink - delicate and pretty and a lovely contrast to the foliage.
Really easy care and stunning - try it tumbling out of a pot on the floor or from the top of a table. You’ll really get a sense of the exotic from this wonderful succulent. If you aren’t used to succulents then this might tempt you - we love its trailing habit and shaggy looks. Try it in a steamy bathroom or a kitchen shelf - anywhere where there is some humidity to simulate the conditions it would live in naturally.
Originally hailing from Mexico and Honduras, Sedum Burrito loves the warmth of the jungle - it can’t really survive outdoors in the UK but it’s great inside the house - a super succulent that is sure to make you want to create a larger collection!
This larger houseplant will give a big impact, so if you want a more dramatic look then this could be the one for you. It would also be amazing as part of your forest bathing experience - you don’t have to go to a forest to reap the benefits of plants. You can enjoy de-stressing in your own home surrounded by your tropical houseplants - it’s brilliant for mental health and general wellbeing.
Making a great houseplant gift, we can make Donkey’s Tail extra special by including a free, handwritten card - just leave your message at the basket stage of checkout and we’ll sort it out for you! No paperwork to spoil the surprise!
