This wonderful variegated vine is one of the most popular houseplants in the world!
It’s clear why this is the case - it’s so adaptable - you can have it climbing up a pole as we have pictured here, you can have it trailing over the sides of a pot or draped from a shelf. It’s undemanding and really good if you’re not an expert at looking after houseplants.
This Pothos has lovely variegation and beautiful glossy, large leaves of emerald green with cream flecks. It’s stunning and refreshing to look at and also grows fast so it’s ideal if you want to cover a space in rainforest style.
You can imagine it in the Asian tropics, climbing up trees and covering bushes, winding its way around tree trunks. Epipremnum care is really easy - it’s ideal for beginners to houseplants because it gives impressive impact without too much trouble! Perfect for creating a stunning impression without too much bother!
You can even successfully take cuttings from Pothos plants and start them off in a little soil or even just water - they tend to take fairly easily.
This Pothos would make a wonderful part of a forest bathing experience - get rid of the stress and pressures of day to day life by relaxing amongst your houseplants! It can really be an almost spiritual experience - plants are proven to promote good mental health and well as being cleansing to the air.
It would make a great houseplant gift - especially for someone new to houseplants - we’ll include a free, handwritten card with your gift purchase - just leave your message at the basket stage of checkout and we’ll arrange it all! No paperwork left in either to ruin the surprise!
Pothos plant care level
This vine is really easy care.
Where should I put it?
It will be happy in most positions, it likes bright light but will tolerate a shady spot too - Pothos plants are known to do well in low light but variegated Pothos may loose a little colour if placed in a dark spot - variegated plants tend to need more light because only the green parts of the leaf absorb the sunlight.
How should I water it?
Water really infrequently - when it feels really dry you can soak through but do not overwater.
How should I feed it?
You can feed in spring and summer about once a month - try our vegan, organic plant food.
Is it suitable if I have pets?
No, it can be toxic to pets.
What size is it?
21cm pot 100cm
27cm pot 150cm
