We’re huge fans of the Indian Laurel - it’s got pots of personality! The Ficus Nitida or as it's more commonly known, the Indian Laurel, is a beautiful, large indoor houseplant.
Here at Happy Houseplants, we sell the impressive and elegant tree form, really a house tree plant! It is a tall indoor plant, growing to 180cm in the house, with a thick trunk, a very stylish houseplant. Truly amongst the best of houseplants with its graceful form and attractive bark.
The Indian Laurel tree in its natural habitat can reach up to 50m tall but we wouldn’t expect that to happen in your house! It originates in southern China, India, Australia and New Caledonia.
