ADD A BEAUTIFUL FITTED POT (OPTIONAL)
We are delighted to secure some of these beautiful hard-to-find plants; the Philodendron Billieteae make such unique indoor plants because they adapt to a wide variety of lighting and water conditions in the wild and will thrive indoors very well. Philodendron Billietiae has a gorgeous elongated heart shape and dark glossy leaves, which allow them to absorb even the tiniest traces of light and water in the wild or at home. A native of the Brazilian rainforests, Billieteae were only discovered to science in 1981 and used to cost hundreds of pounds each, but now commercially propagated so much more reasonable to buy and own.
Philodendrons are sought after because they wild so well; given the simplest of care, they will quickly fill any space and create an indoor jungle with large unusual-shaped leaves and aerial roots that rival any jungle. If you're looking for a plant to soften a room or wild up a corner, this is the perfect plant.
These plants aren’t hard to look after; they will thrive in the shade, making them ideal if you have no experience looking after houseplants. It also means they aren’t hard to situate in your home; they will love any corner of any room, in the sun or shade.
