Native habitat and growth pattern
String of Pearls is native to the arid regions of southwestern Africa. It grows in rocky terrain, trailing over cliffs and through crevices. Indoors, it thrives in bright light and dry conditions, with minimal maintenance.

Light requirements:
Needs bright light—direct sunlight helps maintain plump foliage but too much heat in summer may scorch it.
Watering:
Treat with a “drench and drought” method: water thoroughly when the soil is completely dry, then allow it to dry out again. Avoid letting it sit in water.
Feeding:
