Ficus benghalensis 'Petite Audrey' (Bengal Fig) or Bengal Figs is a beautiful, indoor tree that is easy to care for in the right spot - bright light is essential. It's otherwise very simple to look after, and it gets more beautiful as it grows and wilds naturally into any space. Ficus benghalensis Audrey is a real show-stopper and in India, it's considered sacred as it is believed to be the tree under which Buddha received enlightenment.
Ficus benghalensis in its natural rainforest habitat can reach up to 30m tall, but we wouldn’t expect that to happen in your house! It originates in the tropical belt of Asia, Malaysia, China and Australia, and its leaves have a fuzzy surface.
It’s a beautiful plant that will add finesse to your rooms - think of the pages of a magazine! Whatever the style of your home - Victorian terrace or ultra-modern - this small tree will be a stunning feature and will enhance any room.
It’s an easy-going, versatile houseplant that needs minimal attention. It will reward you with something wonderful to look at, so it’s not a difficult plant if you don’t know much about caring for houseplants. Looking to buy online houseplants?
