We love this Red Anthurium - it really has that tropical jungle with beautiful, distinct heart shape leaves. Their highly ornamental bracts are popular with florists the world over. An ideal low maintenance tropical plant with colour that lasts for any space. Anthurium andraeanum makes a great houseplant with its gorgeous elongated leaves and tangled roots.

This plant is typically grown for the cut flower market, where the unusually shaped leaves and flowers make a great contrast to the flowers in the bouquet, but here we are selling the plant which we think is beautiful in its own right. A fantastic foliage houseplant, this Anthurium will look really amazing in any room in your home. It loves humidity, so a shower room or steamy kitchen would also be perfect for it.

Anthurium are native to tropical rainforests, they are actually epiphytes, so in their native habitat grow on other plants and trees; however, they can also grow on the ground. They will love either being placed in a pot on the floor or on a sideboard - although they will ultimately grow quite large.

This interesting houseplant makes the perfect gift for any occasion, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Valentine's Day and even as a Christmas gift. When gifting, we can include a free, handwritten card - just specify your message at the basket stage of delivery and we’ll do the rest!  We won’t give the game away with paperwork or prices either so it’ll be a wonderful surprise!
