Cambridge Blue Ceramic Gin Bottle Stem Vase

This Cambridge Blue Ceramic Gin Bottle Stem Vase is playful, unexpected and exactly the sort of piece that makes a shelf feel more personal. Shaped like a classic gin bottle and finished in a soft Cambridge blue glaze, it brings a little vintage character to flowers, cuttings and leafy stems.
It is made for those smaller arrangements that can often get overlooked. A single stem from the garden, a sprig of eucalyptus, a cutting from a favourite houseplant or a few dried flowers are all it needs to look lovely.
The gentle blue tone works beautifully in kitchens, on dining tables, in a home office or on a shelf amongst books, ceramics and plants. It has that nice balance of being decorative in its own right while still being useful enough to reach for when you have a few stems to display.
It would make a particularly good present for a plant lover, a gin enthusiast or someone moving into a new home. There is something very appealing about a vase that feels like a little object of interest even before you put flowers in it.

Styling at home
Keep it simple with one or two stems and let the shape of the vase stand out. It looks especially lovely with delicate greenery, tiny seasonal flowers or a trailing cutting.
The blue glaze works beautifully with natural wood, warm white walls, green foliage and pale ceramics. It is a lovely little addition to a kitchen shelf or bar area, but equally at home on a bedside table or desk.
Why we chose it
We wanted the Gifts & Home collection to include pieces that bring character without feeling over styled. This vase has a lovely sense of fun, but the colour and ceramic finish keep it grown up and easy to live with.
Complete the look with more thoughtful pieces from our nature inspired gifts, including beautiful ceramic flowers, botanical candles and cheerful paper garlands and decorations. For more inspiration on styling your home with plants, pots and botanical touches, visit our Happy Houseplants blog.
