The Young plants we are selling here have smaller, broader, copper-red leaves, but when established they mature into superb plants with stunning long leaves; they have a velvety sheen with beautiful, pale green veins. Philodendron melanochrysum or black gold philodendrons is one of the best climbing foliage plants, with large heart-shaped leaves that are typically 20-30cm long. When grown in ideal conditions they can grow even longer. One of the most popular Philodendron on Instagram, it just gets better and better with age.
These plants aren’t hard to look after, they will thrive in the shade which makes them ideal if you have no experience of looking after houseplants. It also means they aren’t hard to situate in your home, they will love any corner of any room really, in the sun or in the shade.
